Delivery and returns policy

Deliveries of products purchased on www.lelapin-kitchenware.com take place within 2-5 working days (Monday-Friday).* Orders placed before 2pm will be processed the same day, orders placed after 2pm will be processed the next working day.

We offer free shipping for orders over €250 (standard shipping). Free shipping is not available for destinations outside the Netherlands. As soon as the order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail in which you will find a link to track the delivery (Track & Trace). Please note that couriers can take more than 5 days to deliver to certain destinations.

Delivery times may be delayed during:

• or in extraordinary circumstances

• holiday periods: Christmas, summer holidays and national holidays

• events beyond the control of those involved in the distribution chain, such as natural disasters, roadblocks due to strikes, events, car accidents, visits by public figures, etc.

• inventory (first week of January)

The chosen courier for the delivery of orders to Europe is DHL. Depending on the delivery area, Post NL and/or DHL can deliver to local couriers. Couriers do not deliver on weekends, bank holidays and pre-holidays, or national holidays (ie Christmas, summer holidays, etc.).

We deliver orders in:

The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg, Italy and the United States.

POSTAGE COSTS

Shipping costs may differ depending on the destination. The minimum transport cost is 6.50 euros. You can see the specific shipping costs for your order before you checkout.

Return Policy

With 'Customers' we mean: people who have made a purchase at the LE LAPIN web store. According to European law, you are entitled to the right of withdrawal for a period of 14 days. The days are counted from the day you, or a designated third party, acquire physical possession of the item. If you wish to return an item, please visit our return page and follow the orders as stated.

You must pay the shipping costs yourself. You are responsible for ensuring that the package is delivered to the correct address and that the products arrive undamaged. The product is in the original packaging and any labels are still attached. There are no traces that the item has been used (in case of traces of use, the product will NOT be taken back).

Costs of returns & refund purchase amount

If you revoke the agreement within 14 days and the package is back in our possession within 14 days, you will receive the purchase price of the product in question within 5 working days. Costs for this return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Whichever method of delivery you choose, you are responsible for returning the package to us. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back. If the package is lost, you can contact the relevant delivery service. In that case, the purchase amount will not be refunded by us. In that case, you can submit a claim to the delivery service. We will pay you back using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, no fees will be charged for this refund. Returns are processed within 5 working days. You can see this on your payment source. Please note: in case of credit card payment, a return booking is often only visible on your credit card statement at the end of the month/term.

If you want a replacement product, you must place a new order.

Depreciation
If damage has occurred to the product, and it can be demonstrated that more has happened to the product than may be expected to assess whether you want to keep it, the costs of this damage will be for your account. The packaging may have been opened. However, the product must not contain any stains, (smoke) odors or other damage. If wear or damage has occurred, LE LAPIN is entitled to offset that damage against the amount to be refunded.

Term: 14 days reflection period
During the cooling-off period, the consumer will handle the product and the packaging with care. The product will only be unpacked to the extent necessary to assess whether the product will be retained.

Parcel delayed or missing
If a package has not been delivered, an investigation will be initiated. This can take 2 weeks. Depending on the investigation, it will be decided whether the responsibility lies with the delivery service or with the shop. In the first case, you can claim the package from the delivery service. In the latter, the shop will come up with the solution. It is therefore not automatically the case that the shop will reimburse the package or resend the product. If a package has been signed for, the legal condition to deliver a package has been met and you can submit your claim to the relevant delivery service. If a package has been delivered with track & trace and the package has been lost, you can submit a claim for damages to the delivery service. LE LAPIN will assist you by providing all the information you need. If you have paid via credit card or paypal, you are often entitled to purchase protection from this payment service.
