Delivery and Returns Policy
Products purchased on www.lelapin.eu are delivered within 2-5 working days (Monday-Friday).* Orders placed before 2:00 PM will be processed the same day; orders placed after 2:00 PM will be processed the following business day.
We offer free shipping for orders over €250 (standard shipping). Free shipping is not available for destinations outside the Netherlands. Once the order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email, which includes a link to track the delivery (Track & Trace). Please note that couriers may take longer than 5 days for delivery to certain destinations.
Delivery times may be delayed during:
- extraordinary circumstances
- holiday periods: Christmas, summer holidays, and national holidays
- events beyond the control of those involved in the distribution chain, such as natural disasters, roadblocks due to strikes, public events, accidents, visits of dignitaries, etc.
- inventory (first week of January)
The designated courier for orders shipped within Europe is DHL. Depending on the delivery area, PostNL and/or DHL may deliver to local couriers. Couriers may (at times) not deliver on weekends, public holidays, or pre-holiday periods, including national holidays (e.g., Christmas, summer holidays).
We deliver orders in: The Netherlands and Belgium.
SHIPPING COSTS: Shipping costs vary depending on the destination. You can see the specific shipping costs for your order before checkout.
Returns Policy: "Customers" are defined as individuals who have made a purchase from the LE LAPIN KITCHENWARE webshop. Under European law, you have the right of withdrawal for 14 days. The 14-day period starts from the day you, or a third party designated by you, physically receive the item. If you wish to return an item, we kindly request that you notify Le Lapin BV by sending an email to info@lelapin.eu. In this email, please include:
- The reason for your return request
- Your order number
- Your full name and phone number
- Delivery address
You are responsible for covering the return shipping costs. You are also responsible for ensuring the package is delivered to our office address and that the products arrive undamaged. The product must be in its original packaging, and there must be no signs of use (in the case of signs of use, the product will NOT be accepted for return).
Return Costs & Refund of Purchase Amount: If you withdraw from the agreement within 14 days and the package is returned to us within 14 days, you will receive a refund of the purchase amount for the respective product within 5 working days. The return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Regardless of the delivery method you choose, you are responsible for ensuring the package reaches us. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods. In the case of a lost package, you may contact the relevant courier service. In this case, the purchase amount will not be refunded by us; you may file a claim with the courier. We will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, no fees will be charged for this refund. Returns are processed within 5 working days. This can be seen on your payment method statement. Note: in the case of credit card payments, a refund often only appears on your credit card statement at the end of the month or billing cycle.
Exchanges: If you wish to receive a replacement product, please place a new order.
Depreciation: If damage has occurred to the product and it is evident that more has been done with the product than would be expected in order to assess whether you wish to keep it, the costs of this damage will be at your expense. The packaging may have been opened, but the product must not have stains, (smoke) odors, or other damage. If there is any wear or damage, LE LAPIN is entitled to offset this damage against the refunded amount.
Period: 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: During the cooling-off period, the consumer should handle the product and packaging with care. The product should only be unpacked as necessary to assess whether it will be kept.
Delayed or Lost Package: If a package is not delivered, an investigation will be conducted. This may take up to two weeks. Depending on the investigation, it will be determined whether responsibility lies with the courier or with the shop. In the first case, you may claim the package with the courier. In the latter case, the shop will provide a solution. It is not automatically assumed that the shop will reimburse the package or resend the product. If a package has been signed for, the legal condition for delivery has been met, and you may submit a claim with the relevant courier. If a package with Track & Trace is lost, you can file a damage claim with the courier. LE LAPIN will assist you by providing any information you need. If you paid via credit card or PayPal, you may also have purchase protection through these payment services.
